A.B.I.D.E Soul Care was founded by Rebekah McGilvray whose personal religious convictions adhere to the tradition of historical Evangelical Christianity.  She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oshawa Ontario, Canada and as such, adheres to Calvary’s statement of faith which aligns with The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Canada.  She also adheres to the Nashville Agreement that represents and defines a coalition for Biblical sexuality.  Rebekah is a certified member of The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and as such adheres to their statement and standards of conduct and doctrine.

A.B.I.D.E Soul Care (Rebekah McGilvray) will counsel you from her deeply held Christian, religious beliefs as part of our Christian practice of religion.

Rebekah is a life-long learner who loves to share her heart for God and His transforming power with women of all ages. She studied for many years with the Simeon Trust Organization as part of her learning and applying the inductive method of Bible study.   She has taught girls as young as grade 5-6 and led many seminars and Bible studies to show women of all ages how to study the Bible for themselves in order to hear the Holy Spirit speak hope and transformation into their lives.  She deeply desires to help women understand that God’s Word is accessible, living, and active (Hebrews 4:12).

There is hope…there is help…and there is abundant life when we ABIDE with our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
